Know Now - World Ovarian Cancer Day

May 8th is World Ovarian Cancer Day, a day to educate, empower and encourage the world to create awareness about ovarian cancer and it's signs and symptoms (which are often overlooked). Because the signs & symptoms of ovarian cancer are often mistaken for less serious medical issues, this campaign posed the question "if you knew then, what you know now, what would you do differently?". The campaign encouraged people to share pieces of knowledge they've learned through life whether its as simple as a beauty tip, or more in depth advice about ovarian cancer. The audience was encouraged to add their piece of "knowledge" to the wall of wisdom on the WOCD website, allowing for them to share it with not only their friends & family, but with the whole world too.
